kasabian. kn*bheads.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

f**king idiots.

to quote one of my friends from facebook:
Dave wrote:I've never known a band more staggeringly obsessed with their own sense of self-importance. I mean, this reads like a 4 year old having a tantrum because no-one has paid them attention for five minutes. A word Tom - normally bands leave it to fans to deem things as "wonderfully crafted" and "heartbreaking".

 Well, there go my last lingering shreds of respect for Kasabian...

Oh, they get what they deserve alright.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Of course, those quotes could be taken entirely out of context. This is the NME.

its actually worse than that - it's nme quoting an interview with the daily star:
Speaking to the Daily Star, Meighan said that he doesn't believe his band "get the credit we deserve" and said that he couldn't understand why any fans of his band wouldn't like the tracks on 'Velociraptor!'.
original interview: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/2 ... uetta-NO1/

so yeah, you're right.

but it suits to think it's entirely accurate  ;D

I do like they previous album "West paper ..", nothing brilliant or new, just well recorded album with few old r'n'r tricks and mix of good olde generes with touch of electronic. But, after listeninig few songs what they used to promote this, new, album i'd say it's rubbish.
But, be fair boys and girls- this album it their child and the love it no mater what, so that comments and reacts are understandable.

Quite silly idioots, but I must confess they are amongst the ones I follow these past years, as I really "admire" their skill to write real anthems, like "shoot the runner", "underdog","where did all the love go" etc...
Velociraptor is ok, not one of their best but hey, what could you expect from a record with such a sleeve...

Now, that's the real good news:
