But please explain why when there's a fight, the watching people always form a circle? Why not a square or a triangle? Or a trapezium or a dodecahedron? Always a damn circle ... (That's my scary face)

Can any of the American Heartlanders explain how it is that Jacko was arrested several weeks ago, paid $3m bail, and the court date was set, but he was only charged YESTERDAY. Surely you charge a person first, then they pay bail. As Jacko was only charged yesterday surely when he was arrested a few weeks ago he could have just walked out, as he hadn't been charged. The U.S. legal system baffles me.

It shouldn't, Dan. See, over here, if you're rich and famous, you get away with absolutely *everything*. The justice machine bends over for you and takes it up the ass (especially fitting in this particular case, hahaha! ).Dan wrote:The U.S. legal system baffles me.
If you're the average poor sap, *you* bend over. Get it?
I left my heart in Ballycastle...
But thats just what I was complaining about. he *didn't* get away with it - he had to pay $3m bail at a time when he hadn't even been charged with anything.SINsister wrote: See, over here, if you're rich and famous, you get away with absolutely *everything*.
