I think there are two (slightly) different versions of the VHS release, there are some minor differences in the colour-balance between them as I recall. I don't know anything about sound quality.
I know that the sound on a couple of commercial VHS tapes I own have degraded quite badly over the years while most of the others have survived quite well.
I suppose it could be that the individual tape you have wasn't stored in ideal conditions?

There are plenty of DVDs in the weeding section
yes i was referreing to all of them in my first post, my transfer turned out much better for the picture but inferior to at least one of them in audio (don't know now which is which any more)robertzombie wrote:There are plenty of DVDs in the weeding section
