Heartland's birth cry - almost 10 years ago :)

Updates on forum status, bug fixes, etc. If there's something new in here its probably a good idea that you read it.

In response to this discussion about the Dominion mailing list, here's the very first email I sent to Dominion regarding the launch of Heartland, back in January 2002 :D

For anyone new to Heartland history, I beat SinSister to launching a forum by a matter of hours. Something for which she's never truly forgiven me... ;)

indeed you are right.

so how about: http://www.myheartland.co.uk/ ? *

its still very much in beta, and if anyone feels its treading on toes i
apologise profusely...

so who wants to fill it with content? vicus? robin? anyone?

pete, do you want be an administrator? i don't see why the two cannot be run
side by side? i think they can be complimentary, rather than anything else?

b.

ps. mik - sorry, i stole your idea (but not the software) from wishville!

Many thanks to HL member Screaming Dead for digging this out of the archives :D :notworthy:

Nice - I can't really recall what year it was when I spottet this forum the first time (never bothered myself with the Dominion mailing list before) but I was a long time lurker before I got myself an account^^

Btw: It seems that this is going to be some kind of joint-venture celebration, see:

http://forum.mysnip.de/list.php?5971,page=14

(the very first PD forum, first posting started somewhat around January 2002 as well)

So let's bake a cake now^^

Gosh.

I only ever occasionally dipped in and out of Dominion, I never really liked the email discussion format.

Yayy! :notworthy:

I was on Dominion in 90/91, very early, but at the time there was literally nothing else going.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

It's cool that HL is still fairly active after all these years. The same cannot be said for Dawnrazor (the Neph forum). Not sure why that is! :?:

Craziness of their fans?
