Good Live Recording of Crash and Burn

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

This guy seems to be selling a video of the 2011 London show, which going by the samples looks like an excellent recording.

Unless you absolutely insist on bying it, Heartland member Eggi's recording of Helsinki 2011 has a fab rendition of the song with great audio.

from your list i could recommend smoke & mirrors 2CD set, also Exxile In Cologne 2CD set is, imho, the best choice. I agree with above message,- late 90s, early 2000's was, probably, his best period for the "new" stuff.

Exxile in Cologne is best, but i recomend recording from London 2003, best sound of post 2000 TSOM, imo.

Can't someone knock together a tight as fook backing track and then assemble a passable Eldy vocal over the top from a smattering of soundboard recordings? I reckon we can release this album on our own if we all pull together.

Don't bother buying a boot. Check in the sharing section here; there are awesome quality recordings available for nowt.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Exxile in Cologne 2001 is the best.

Some clever person has compiled a rather stonking video with several cameras of a full show recorded in Brussells in Feb 2011. It's on You Tube. And sounds quite good.
