Kick In The Eye - A night of 80s Goth! - Leeds - 28th Jan

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

i think you'll find paul has omitted the definite article from ALL the bands, in the interests of clarity and ease of A-Z sorting

I shan't be there, but I reckon you should just put the whole of Azoic on back to back, because it's amazing.

No Meatloaf? Not for me then.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

It's probably a good time to mention that this is now imminent (if you consider less than a few weeks imminent, which apparently I do!)...

...if the thought of four hours of 80s(ish) goth isn't enough to get you out, The Marching Men (they do Sisters songs) will be playing live beforehand.

As I will be near Leeds on that weekend I might just pop along :D
