Movie posters from a alternate universe

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

What a film that would have been!

Watching two dead snails in the 4000 steeple chase makes my blood pump in my veins and makes me feel alive and in harmony with the Big Aorta That Is The Universe.

That movie, on the other hand...

the film is good, but arthur c clarke's original book was better tbh.

it explained a lot more about the star child, and the general goings on where much clearer than the rather muddled & slightly-too-abstract film, imho.

That movie was so slow even the soundtrack sounded 150 years old.

It's supposed to be boring!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Bloody heathens.

Mind, Quiffy has a point, the book was a much more intriguing and well-orchestrated affair.

But what book isn't superior to the film?

Is that an answer to the question "what book isn't better than the film"?

Blimey.

Well, I suppose everyone's entitled to their opinion. Even if they're wrong. ;D
