Venue suggestions for The Sisters Of Murphy ?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi all,

Hope you are all well.

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for decent venues for us to approach south of say Nottingham. We do wanna try and do a few more gigs down south before we all eventually expire from "needanotheralbum" syndrome.

Any Names, numbers or URLs would be greatly appreciated.

Paddy.

Life size indeed! ;D

Izzy, as you may have noticed, I have taken your avatar gif, resized it to something more appropriate and uploaded it to the Heartland servers.

I have also changed your profile to point to the new, smaller, gif.

Hope this is ok... :von:

Hey thanx Quiff! I already noticed the avatar was way too big, and therefore removed it again. But this is great. Thanx!

@ Paddy - Glad you've got some serious feedback from your fellow Heartlanders.

Seriously though, what sort of venue capacity are you thinking about/used to playing/ been thrown of stage from*?

Then Columbus was wrong when he said the world was round? LOL

Play London. It's the only city in your country I love to visit. Make sure that when you do...the Sisters and Zodiac have gigs the same week.

I'd hop the pond the for that! And probably end up in cardiac arrest if I didn't keel over drunk first!

Seriously tho, I think exposure in London would be a good career move, if you want to call it that. A gig in Soho...could be a great experience. I would also suggest, if you haven't already been there, Sheffield!! One day I'm going there to see one of my favorite bands. Doomie, can you guess who I'm talking about?

Good luck!!

i have an inkling...

and yes. play sheff. everyone play sheff! it involves very little effort on my part  and it's a great place. we've got a poundshop and a place that does really good chicken sammiches and a 24-hour spar on division street for post-gig blue rasberryade and monster munch.
