Yup, they already gave 4 pieces of this record.
I saw them on their first gig in Budapest, in 1996. Were you there too? It'll be amazing to see them live again...Pista wrote:Papp Laszlo Arena?

I tried to get tickets for the Albert Hall show (do DCD have shows, performances or gigs??) ,again all the best seats seemed to be going really fast,so I decided I didn't really need to go..too much money for just one night down in London.....I still can't work out exactly who I'm trying to convince..
I was just about to ask you what you wanted to be in the moshpit for.sam1 wrote:great..lets jump around to this:paint it black wrote:

On FB they say that "A few additional tickets have been released fro The Royal Albert Hall, London....." In case you weren't tempted enough.sam1 wrote:I tried to get tickets for the Albert Hall show (do DCD have shows, performances or gigs??) ,again all the best seats seemed to be going really fast,so I decided I didn't really need to go..too much money for just one night down in London.....I still can't work out exactly who I'm trying to convince..

I have just seen it and went so far to "buy" tickets to see where they were in the hall itself!--I'm afraid to say I believe things happen for a reason and not to get the tickets first time was a good enough reason not to get tickets...oh and I need to get new windows for the house,so me going on a one night jolly to London is a bit daft..and I spent £150 on both the reissued 180g Dead Can Dance vinyl box-sets...( the missus doesn't know about this yet)BeeBeeOh wrote:On FB they say that "A few additional tickets have been released fro The Royal Albert Hall, London....." The whole album was on Yt for a few days, Gerrard sings 4 songs and Perry another 4.
Well the songs are very good but, as someone on a different forum correctly pointed out, they do sound like each contributed 4 tracks from their solo works, so it sounds more like a split lp than a dead can dance record but since the songs are good this probably dosent matter at all.
What i did find annoying though was the price they charge for the limited edition of the new cd, 50+17(postage) euros for something that dosent look that exquisite and nowhere it is mentioned how limited this version is (1000? 10000? 20000?) Well in these times is a bit too much to ask for.
The vinyl version will do just fine.

Yeah, I'm with you on this: new album is pretty good, but does sound as if they each did their own bits and not that much together. But still a nice surprise to see there's a new album coming...Silence is platinum wrote:The whole album was on Yt for a few days, Gerrard sings 4 songs and Perry another 4.
