Killing Joke - The Unperverted Pantomime CD

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just found this yesterday - didn't even know it existed!!! It's an "official bootleg" of 1980 tracks, including the original "Wardance"/"Pssyche" 7", a Capitol Radio sesh, some demos and alternate versions and a handful of live tracks. Wow!!! Makes me feel all kinda longing for a similar Sisters release though.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

It's a good cd for people who are already fans as it has quite different sounding early versions of songs which later became well known . I do think you'd have to be a Joke fan already to appreciate it though .

The live stuff is thought to be the first ever live recording of the band .
