Tidy your room = Wall of sound

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

However this was the best I think....

The whole ad and promotional campaign for Floodland was superbly executed, those ad's in the NME that mentioned neither the band or title of the song were very smart.

There might be some in the Sisters Scrapbook that is in the sharing section somewhere.

Edit;
found the link,but the original post contains a megaupload link,so that's probably buggered.

I'll try and post a couple of pics (assuming I can find them).

Ref the Floodland boxes, I think I'm going to sell them rather than put them back into storage, so if anyone is interested, either as singles or as a job lot, send me a pm. I'll post in the trading section as well.

yes - that's the stuff, there was a series of clever ad's that in some cases never mentioned the bands name, albeit it was signed Eldritch......

did you ever notice how the one which later became the lyrical content of the TC demo made an 'E' shape

yes, flood land, lucretia and more were all in that style from memory
