Afterhours 12"

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Hi, I'm about creating a page for the Afterhours 12" in the Wiki ...
(heaven knows where the old page has gone...)

Anyway, there is this question about the tracklist on side b.
Some sources say Stairway To Heaven did not appear on the vinyl and just omit it from the tracklist.
Others list Knockin' On Heaven's Door twice instead,
and the next source doesn't mention any incongruities with the cover track listing at all

Could possibly the first edition (BT7) feature other tracks than the second one (DT7)?

What a chaos ... ... please help ...

Actually it is:

Knocking On Heaven´s Door / Hey Joe / Knocking On Heaven´s Door / Purple Haze

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcPXImRD-V4

& they started Ghostrider with the tunes of Stairway to Heaven (no vocals)

Aha. Thank you for the information, Cyberbio ... :notworthy: ...

So, it's the same medley as on the Echoes Vol. 2 12" (another work in progress) ...

Done these pages now ...

Afterhours
ECHOES VOL.2

no real pictures of the ECHOES vinyl but so far it looks ok to me.
Vinyls with Merciful Release logo in one of the pictures do not seem right ... any info on these were very welcome.

Some pressings of the Echoes vinyls do have MR logos on the labels. For instance my copy of Vol 4 is like that...

Thank you for the info, radiojamaica ... :D ... is the Merciful Release logo on both sides?

I checked with my Echoes vinyls and here's the verdict:
Vol. 2 & Vol. 3 have plain yellow labels on both sides.
Vol. 4 has the MR logos on both sides.

The Vol. 4 that I have is the limited edition with the booklet (like the picture of Vol. 2 on the Wiki). I don't know if there's a difference with the 'regular' edition...

Some comments:

All 3 lps are available with either MR logo and yellow (Echoes 2 +3) or orange (Echoes 4) labels. I do have the ltd. editions of all three and all have MR logo labels.

Echoes 2 and 3 are also available in different cover versions
- thin fold out cover (which is the 1. edition as far as I know) which usually has yellow labels,
- thick cover with yellow or MR logo labels, most have MR logo labels (the ltd. editions were made of these).

Echoes 4 is only available in the thick cover version, labels see above.

Maybe this helps.
