Moonspell singer wears Sisters T-shirt in new video

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

so Moonspell is one of those bands I like very much. we are going to see them next week in Eindhoven. they just came out with the new album Alpha Noir and Omega White...also reference to Peter Steele, they dedicate one of the songs to him on the album. anyhow, I just noticed while watching the video for White Skies that Fernando is wearing a Sisters tee. makes moi happy.

any band that references TON and Sisters on the same album has my approval:)

Not exactly a shocker that Fernando should wear a Sisters t-shirt seeing as the band's sound is almost entirely based on TSOM. I agree that, like TON (and the Nephs before them), Moonspell is one of the very few bands who have used the influence and taken it into a new dimension, rather than watered it down into a one-dimensional (unwitting) parody. Enjoy the gig !

you are right it's not unexpected, just glad to see it. they play the Dynamo which is a small place I believe 200 people max, saw Seventh Void and A Pale Horse Named Death (TON boys) there last year. also bought tickets for their November gig with Pain at 013 Tilburg. I have to sqqeze that in right before I go to Orlando, bit of a tight schedule

I used to like them a lot but they became kind of a joke and their new music is lame and weak...but its good to see him wearing a Sisters shirt anyways

yep at least in my opinion. Alpha Noir is fast and rough and Omega white is slow and romantic (mostly for the goils I guess) :P

Moonspell as TSOM fans is hardly a surprise, but there are plenty of other old fans out there too :

I once wore a Sisters T-Shirt. Is that news too?
Only the Americans could have built a place like this in the middle of a jungle.

No - it's not particularly witty either.

boyz and goilz..again I was just happy to see it, that is all....please remove all buttplugs before someone gets hurt ;D

anyhow the concert was great, sound awesome, played for about 2 hours and also played Green Light for Peter. small venues are always better than festivals at least for moi. hopefully can make it to Tilburg in November, paws crossed that no work issues come up.
