Rose of Avalanche - Alan Davis Interview

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

For those of you that liked the band, or are just interested to hear from someone that was around in the Leeds scene back in the day, I've recently tracked down and interviewed original Rose bass player Alan Davis.

Hear about the bands formation and early days direct from the horses mouth!

Yes, the Sisters pool table hogging antics in the Faversham is included :von:

Although I was a fan of the band back in the 80's,and saw them support The Mish,I have to admit to a little embarrasment when I thought this thread was them being interviewed by Alan Davis

Thanks for posting - brought back lots of happy memories of the band who filled the gap whilst the Girls were "resting".
