Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Romeo Down (8trk demo), a live Mish track (poss from Shepherds Bush), I Walk The Line (studio version I think). No Cure or Cult stuff. Can't remember the details cos I'm at work now. There's probably quite a bit there for some folk here, just not my cup of tea....
I may have made up one of the above tracks.

Got my copy; the Eldritch interview is pretty standard fare - no records, touring's good enough, Japanese movies, Cockney Rebel, computers, cats, cricket, etc.

The Wayne interview looks like it might have a few interesting snippets in it, but haven't read it yet. An intriguing-looking Coleman about the making of Night Time too.

Yup, that's the one! Von is proved correct about music journalists yet again. :lol:

(There actually are some interesting bits in the Von interview, about meeting with fans, hints of pre-Sisters bands, My Boy Lollipop, cats, computers, Cockney Rebel and dodgy Japanese movies, etc).

Got my copy today (after fruitless trips to Asda, RS McColl etc), in the kind of card wallet that photo paper comes in, detailing some of the bands inside. And what strapline have they taken from the lengthy That Guitarist interview ? "There's still bad blood between me and Eldritch ..." :roll:
Not a lot new in any of the interviews, but some great 80s nostalgia, a far less of The Cure than you would guess from the cover :D

*somebody cited the opening lyrics to 24 hours as the opening lyrics to shadowplay, I was mortified.

Eventually arrived ... ;D ... and well worth the money! Nicely packed, pretty layouts, plenty wonderful photos, lots of stuff to read ... and written in nice manners ...a lovely bit of nostalgia tempting to dig a bit further into matters (in case one shouldn't be aware, anyway), to listen to that CD and to keep an eye on current activities of those bands and their field(s) ...

I got mine yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the :von: interview. I've not read anything else yet or listened to the CD. I'm looking forward to reading the FOTN piece...

Thought the gig adverts were a bit dated. The Cult, The m*****n and Killing Joke tour is advertised with KJ still on the bill, although the venues had been downsized...
