Right, I myself am 17, turning 18 in July of next year. I have decided that I would like to get a tattoo, and have started to think about it (figuring it will take at least until July to decide).
I would love nothing more than a Sisters tat, but I'm going to avoid a band tattoo for obvious reasons. And right now I am just looking for inspiration. What I ask is this. Can I see photos of any tattoos other heartlanders have? Also, anybody got any good ideas for a sisters based tat that doesn't directly reference the band? for example I like the idea of a forarm sleeve in the black and red FALAA background.

i always have trouble trying to get pictures on here but my avater (left) is on my right arm, ok its 'band' related but its still unknown enough for people to just appreciate the artwork! as is the 7" sleeve design from everythings gone green on my left arm!
ive also toyed with the idea for a loong time about getting the original
sun/black hole sleeve design from temple of love tattooed, or the peeling skull.
its all very subjective and it took me ten years to get the unknown pleasures one done!
also, in the next few days im getting an eye of horus done, thats a pretty cool design, possibly a bit 'done to death' and although somewhat TSOM related, its still original enough to be appreciated just for what it is!
give it plenty of thought and enjoy!

It's band related without being obvious.....

when i had my first tattoo done at 18 i felt the same way-not because i thought that i'd ever stop loving the sisters, but because they were at the height of their commercial success and i wanted my first tattoo to be vaguely individual. however at the age of 25 i could resist no longer and my sixth and last (professionally done) tattoo was the sisters head and star.it is,of course my favourite.Maisey wrote: I would love nothing more than a Sisters tat, but I'm going to avoid a band tattoo for obvious reasons.
