The Sisters Of Mercy as performed by The Marching Men 22/09

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

"The Marching Men" cover a myriad of tracks from The Sisters Of Mercy's arsenal, with a rocket-propelled drum track, trained attack guitars and vocal airstrikes: "The Marching Men are a rock'n'roll covers band. And use machines to groove industrially. We'll play gigs, sometimes. We'll sell t-shirts, sometimes. We'll wear bad eighties fashion. We'll not apologise."

The band will be playing live before/as part of "Kick In The Eye", our clubnight dedicated to the best Goth music from the 80s.

Entry to the gig (which includes entry to "Kick In The Eye") is £4 on the door.

Saturday 22nd September 2012
Doors 7pm, band onstage 8pm, clubnight 9pm-2am.
The Library, 229 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, LS2 3AP

How the hell are ya, man?

To address your question/statement: ummmm...no, I daresay I haven't...but that's not my point (they could always consider flying me over there so that I can assess the situation properly, of course... *cough* :innocent:). They're doing something that kicks serious arse, imho, and they're seemingly having a bloody good time doing it. *Envy, envy, envy* :von:

Seconded. "We're professional entertainers. You give us money, we entertain you."

Our gig this month is gonna blow people away. Or off. depends how much they pay and who does the blowing.

We love you all, up until we're paid.

Then you're just obstructions between us and the bar.

Would love to have our bonafide American Administrator front and centre with us. Would you object to being shipped on a DHL pallet, SINsister?

Might be a little chilly in that cargo hold, dear Tim - and I'm quite sensitive to the cold, sadly. Hmm. Perhaps I should look into something in steerage...

I might be swinging by. I might also be wearing a very loud shirt.

Dear Doktor, Is space curved?

It is in Leeds.
If space is curved then time is certainly... "out of joint". ;)
