Something sounds familiar...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Is it just me or does this songs main riff sound very familiar to a certain Reptile House song? A little too familiar perhaps... :D

The first bar or two are certainly using the same riff, but after that it no longer sounds like Fix.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

But even The Reptile House was not entirely original. Not only is the drum machine intro of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23m3YYlYJac like a slightly slowed down version of a certain Queen classic, but the main guitar counterpoint riff (eg at exactly one minute into the song) is exactly the same note sequence as that sung by Freddie in the same song !

I can't believe I never noticed that before... A lovely counterpoint to the the song! I'll never be able to listen to it without thinking of Freddy!

We will rock you.
But i never noticed that until Nikolas Vitus Lagartija pointed this out.
And btw, as it was mentioned here, also drum (machine) beat of one song from "Floodland" is strangely similar to Led Zep song.
