Return of the son of 'Currently Listening'

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The Joy Formidable. Think they're Yanks but not really sure, I heard it sometime this year on my brothers stereo and expressed my respect at the lovely indie-thrash-dancey(ish) racket they produced. Kinda a cross between New Order, QOTSA (ishish) and Curve (ishishish). In other words they sound like The Joy Formidable, and a very rocking sound it is too. :notworthy:

That's the most hopeless description imaginable, get em up on youtube and decide for yourself, whilst trashing my attempted description. I blame the end of a long run of nights, NYE with the cats and a large bottle of vodka.

Thanks, will do! :notworthy:

And I've blasted through the remainder of the sangria, and have started on the pinot noir, myself. Perhaps a bit of bubbly, solo, at the stroke of the witching hour, we'll see.
