Best show of 2012

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. For me, The Cure at Reading, closely followed by Ulterior in Bratislava.

A Place To Bury Strangers in Trix, Antwerp last May. Fifth time or so I saw them and I guess this was the one were all elements fitted perfectly!

From the olde guarde it was also The Cure for me, at Pïnkpop in May. That was grand...

Sisters at Amphi were nice but NMA together with German support SLIME in Cologne in December were fantastic :roll:

Tricky's Maxinquaye gig at the Indigo was a definite contender for one of the worst things ever.

Surprise winner for me was Peter Hook & The Light.
Could have been very contrived - but somehow it worked really well.
