Okay. First of, sorry for creating so many threads.
I know the rues on "lNo spamming" and such, just there's a lot on my mind that I feel would be best to say here, and I saw that the other thread was closed.
Alright, I'm feeling rather glum lately, to say the least.
As in the other one "The depressed may lead the depressed"
Just post what's up, and We'll do our best to comfort.
As for me, everything.
First off, I've got a horrid throat infection 4 weeks before a recording session in the studio. Which wouldn't be so much of an issue, if I didn't have to sing for 5 hours. It feels so painful, and I just want it to stop.
I would try to sleep the pain away, accept I have a slight case of insomnia. Probably bought about by Anxiety and stress and pressure of EVERYTHING that's currently happening in life.
Been diagnosed with dysthymia (Chronic depression) which really sucks.
Yeah, and I'm also looking for some feedback on a couple of my bands songs... if you wouldn't mind, and if you're interested I'll post 'em.
And again, in advance, sorry and thank you.
Slightly depressed, the second.

This one's got a friend singing on it, as I was unable to write lyrics or a tune to it, I asked them to do it.

this seems to be the most popular out of all of my songs, it's got over 400 views now... (Which, in fact, is a huge achievement for me xD)

Second this.....also I highly recommend gargling with Apple Cider Vinegar, it has worked for me when I have done gigs etc with sore throat/cough etc...it is hideous and extreme and you will have to swallow it also...but it works, I kid you not. Also good for warts!!!!!!!!Pista wrote:Get some hot whiskey & honey down yer neck for your throat

RainDance sent a shiver up my spine as soon as the vocals kicked in.

Ditto, but I've no cake nor (tasty) crisps. And I don't really fancy cake or crisps, anyway. I'd really like a hug, actually, but there's no one to provide me with such a thing in "real life."emilystrange wrote:i have had a f**k awful day in a rubbish week. have been to shop and have cake and crisps. if that doesn't work, i'm going shopping tomorrow.

as i started, to not act like said 'vagina'; it's not about day more about years, classical case of depression- i just can't handle that low, low attitude. not so rainbow thoughts. even like now, i know what's going on and yet i simply can't get out from that shadow area. one day it will pass, but it will back again, and again. it's freaking pointless. i don't want to buy time from someone who will pretend that he/she will care about my problems, 'cause i know what's going on and what is the source of that, so pills it's the only good solution for that.

Be careful going the pharma route, Bartek. That shit screws with your physiology in ways that science doesn't yet understand, yet shrinks prescribe this stuff as though it were candy. You've only got one brain; there's no telling what the long-term effects are or might be.Bartek wrote:i'm just depressed, again. i come to point that i know that pills might be the right solution.
I was variously prescribed every antidepressant and anti-anxiety med going, over the course of the last 20 or so years. Did nothing to help my severe depression or anxiety, merely turned me into a zombie with a flat affect, and provided me with a laundry list of rather-frightening side effects.

that's not a good news. i trust you with that. in fact i know that pills is not very good in long term, but i simply don't a good long term solution.SINsister wrote:Be careful going the pharma route, Bartek. i've been on that track many, many times and i know that will end one day, but i cannot control on anyway, that's just too tiring, energy consuming process. and i know that really affect on my social life in a way that it's far from what i need.

Absolutely seconded ... ... you were not the first person, Bartek, to get used to psychotropic drugs ...SINsister wrote:Be careful going the pharma route, Bartek. ...
AND these pills only counteract the symptoms ... so that you don't feel it anymore.
But if you don't learn to get yourself out of the emotional/intellectual mess, nothing will change.
Of course, with time and coincidenctial incentives you will feel better ... until the next down.
Stop thinking in long-run mode! Take/make the good things NOW !!!
Find some way to please yourself, instead of leaving your sweet Bartek in the dark lurge!

I was using the latin version, rather than the anglo-saxon, as it's seen as a swearword in countries outside of Scotland. The expression is very popular in both this city and country. People here use it in everyday speech almost as much as f**king.SINsister wrote:Excuse me, but vaginas *rule*. Really good! I like your voice. The Kigdom of Memories is the best of these.
And vodka is the best protection from depressed Sometimes. But other time could make things even worse.

Very down at the moment and quite scared an episode last week shows I do have a violent nature ( verbal only fortunately) . However in discussing this set back with my therapists, my gp and my counsellor it is apparent that they all see a different resolution for me and are not pulling together for the common good . Want desperately to get off this train I nearly lost a good friend due to my uncontrollable behaviour and the only light at the moment is she was prepared to forgive me ( but as she said this time)
Just one of the pesky kids
