R.I.P Jeff Hanneman

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I was never a fan but it always sucks when this happens. 49 is too young.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

An inspiration to many metal guitar players. May he rest is peace and reign in blood!

Genuinely saddened by this. Been a fan since 85.

OMG what a horrible way to die.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

I'm sure, he will never be forgotten and his end does fit in the Slayer image indeed, although it's horrible :(

Seriously? again? making even smallest jokes about someone death (not including very stupid you-should-have-predict-that way)?

not a huge fan, although in my teens i did listen to their finest albums (raining blood, season in the abyss, south of heaven), anyhow: :notworthy:
