Top 10 movie baddies: Not the obvious ones

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

As long as it's not Sil from Doctor Who.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

I'm a bit puzzled by the inclusion of Lord Summerisle in the list of baddies. He's not the baddy! I always cheer at the end of The Wicker Man.

Is it just me?

Not at all! my favourite bit is when edward woodward starts singing the 23rd psalm in a booming calvanist style as the whol;e thing goes up. his vbile policeman deserves all he gets.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Travis Bickle certainly doesn't warrant being in there.

Dennis Hoppers character in Easy Rider should be in there.
And Stephen Grahams character in This Is England.

oh yesss agree...Gary Oldman as Stansfield - absolute class

but also for me, these are pretty memorable that are not on the list:

Ben Kingsley's character Don in Sexy Beast

HAL in A Space Odyssey !!

and Robert Mitchum in Night of the Hunter - his best ever role IMHO
