I took the plunge & grabbed all 3 episodes. Really glad I did.
Anderson's accent is absolutely perfect!
I was a little worried at first but she nailed that open English accent, and with the strong Belfast accents surrounding her it worked really well.

i watched a fragments, long time ago, but never full. i must say that Blade Runner is really good. but i'm affraid that i will never watch star wars or star trek.
even that i'm not a filums phan i'm trying to watch some true classics, one movie a week or two. ;)

I just watched the film Warm Bodies which is a zombie movie, but not really scary. Loved it and lead zombie Nicholas Hoult was fabulous. Anyone else seen it?

This is going to be really good, but you absolutely must watch Star Wars - just the original movie (Episode 4) - because it is a true classic and a touchstone for a lot of what followed in modern cinema, and not just in the sci-fi genre. The subsequent over-marketing and prequels have tarnished it's reputation, but the original retains a purity, a sense of joy and wonder, and some of the most amazing cinematography, and it would be a shame if you missed out on that.

Citizen Kane is one big disappointment. i mean, ok, i'm not such a good filums history enthusiast, so i had to read in wiki that this movie was so important in directing and other "Filmmaking innovations", but story is so cheap, so American, so shallow.

My big problem with Citizen Kane is the gaping plot hole:

The whole film revolves around them trying to find out what Kane's last word "rosebud" means. But Kane is alone in his room when he says it. So how does anyone know?
