Anyone know what ever became of Cleo Murray from The Violets?
She was my teenage dream, and I saw her perform with The Violets once before they imploded.
I've always been curious but I can't seem to find much beyond a mention of the band Lovecraft in 1993.
Any info gratefully received...
What happened to Cleo Murray?
That's also the only info the band has in their biography page and ask her to contact them for news
In Discogs it is written that her last work was in 2006 as Murray in a Golf Anthology and a song called Walk Into The Sun from March Violets

But this is about March Violets actually...

Was always a Rosie fan myself, as her voice worked better with Si's and the band was more about substance than style in those days. It's great that she's back in the reformed band and seemingly in better health.
She has a Violets page on her Pinterest http://pinterest.com/rosiegarland/the-march-violets/ which reveals that Si was behind most of their sleeve art. Was solely responsible for this for the Sisters ?

Thanks for your replies guys.
I agree, Rosie's vocals fit the band's music a bit better and I always loved the early singles and Religious as Hell better than any of the later work.
However, for a teenage rock kid, it was hard to top Cleo for sheer hotness.
Anyway, if anyone has any info, it would be interesting to hear.

I would guess that it was some kind of incidental double-entendre, but I'm not sure.

I was watching some MVs on YouTube a few years ago & in the comments someone posted "That's my Mum"
So I assumed she started a family in the years since her time in the music business.

Give me one good reason

Well I was handsome and I was strong
