Ghost Dance rerelease

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I hope Cherry Red have improved their reissues since my last purchase.

I bought the expanded reissue of the Darling Buds Pop Said album about 10 years ago & I swear I could hear vinyl crackle on some tracks. The album & CD singles which made up the extras were all available on ebay at the time, so god knows why CR made such a cheap job of it!

I think I'll stick with my LP.... Some of the rarer stuff, the unreleased tracks on the otherhand would be a nice addition.

Or, y'know, a CD rerelease of Gathering Dust for f**k sake.

I've got the original CD somewhere, but will probably pick it up again for the 2nd CD. It was shocking what they did to "Celebrate" on that album...major labels, oh dear
