Hello, I'm new here...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hello all,

I'm new here. My name is Cia and I've been a Sisters fan for aeons. I've often visited this forum for news of (cough) a new (cough) record, but mostly for gig details. It's a great site, so I've taken the plunge and joined.

I'm only a member of one other forum - the terrible New Gold Dawn (also joined for record news, never posted as its s**t), so please be gentle with me.

My best Sisters gig was probably the one with Depeche Mode at Crystal Palace (it was so light! the sound so good!), the worst probably the two gigs at Rock City in Nottingham where the sound was soupy and tickets has a slight case of overselling.

The XXX gigs were fun, especially Nik Turner.

Hi ciazaera ... :D ...

thanks for the lovely introduction... ;D ...

I couldn't tell which Sisters show was the best I've seen. There are so many by now
and I've enjoyed all of them, but Supercrash 1997 was for sure the most adventurous one for me ...

And yeah, the whole XXX Tour was great, in particular - of course - the Leeds gigs. Nik Turner was quite a machine ... ;D ...
I fully adored not only the music but also the dancer on stage. She was just ace ... ;D ...

ciazaera...hello and welcome to the best joke shop in England...I hardly ever post here but it's a great place to visit.
XXX was my first chance to see the band and that was thanks to Nik and a friend I was working with at the time...still I was mighty tempted to skip Niks set and watch the fire woman outside the venue - what a great night that was from entrance to exit...ah, roll on the VX'th (Is that how we spell 60 in Rome?)
As I was saying - welcome ciazaera :)

It's better for Nephs not to come to Greece at this period....
If they have anything printed relative with Gold or Dawn on their merchandise they will end behind bars and the twitter will flood with tags like #Neph_behind_bars etc

Btw welcome Cia ;D

Welcome aboard. :notworthy:

Oh, and since nobody's asked yet - YCBTO?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Isn't it some sort of reference to Crowley? :?

Crowley was involved but didn't found it. It's a real b*stard trick of those Greek neo-nazis to rip off the name.

Depeche Mode were awesome at Crystal Palace

Pull up a chair...you'll soon figure us out
