Name is Carl, living in Gothenburg. Been listening to Sisters since 1985 (a couple of months after their concert here ). Sadly I've never attended a concert because I usually go straight for the sports pages in the morning paper so I never know when there is one. Once (2002, 2003 or so) my friends actually called me from a concert I didn't know about, thanks lol.
When I'm not listening to TSOM it's either death metal (Deranged, Cannibal Corpse), early TON/Carnivore or casual radio music
Best album ever is, and always will be, First and Last and Always.
Thanks

Hey Carl how you doing - mine is a similar story - missed the Sisters year after year after for different reasons - you're in for a treat when they roll around Gothenburg next time -
You know; there might be a better idea that someone here will suggest but best that I can think of is to sign up at ticketmaster and add the Sisters as a favourite - I think this way you get an e mail from ticketmaster soon as a tours announced.
In the meantime enjoy Gothenburg - what an incredibly beautiful city that place is!

Welcome aboard Carl
My story is similar too, missed gigs( not only the Sisters) because where i live certain news arrived the day after the gig or because i was alone tripping to the town of the gig...
Next year will be the right one, don't worry

Hello Carl and welcome to HL!
Having seen the Sisters in 1984 (Detmold) and 1985 (RAH), I can say you definitely missed something back in '85...

Thanks for the welcome guys
As for YCBTO, not my favorite but yes I'd say (haven't read enough here to understand the fascination with it though lol). On the other hand, can't recall a single Sisters song I'd call bad so my opinion might be less than useful.
I did miss the concert in 2011 (didn't even know about it until now) and I'm sure I missed one helluva show in 1985 FALAA and the singles from around that time are the best there is.
Yes, Gothenburg is a really nice place. I've lived here all my life and I'm not leaving until they carry me out kicking and screaming
