Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
My wife and I are currently watching some Dickens adaptations that we borrowed on video (!) from my mother in law.
The Pickwick Papers was ace, funny and sad in equal measure, and now we're watching David Copperfield with Arthur Lowe as Mr Micawber. Whenever he's on screen we shout "don't tell him, Pike!" so I've no idea what he's actually saying, or if he's any good.
Apropos of nothing, I won't be watching the remake of The Clangers.
Any colour you like, so long as it's black. Unless it's a John Deere.
Thanks for posting this link. My favourite TV show as a child although I think I just enjoyed the racial stereotyping rather than laughing at it in a post-ironic way as the chattering classes no doubt intended us to. Interesting on that clip to hear Mr Brown saying that there will be no racialism or religious intolerance permitted in his classroom - all the overt racism comes from the "foreigners" towards each other, whilst the "indigenous Brit" tries to ensure stiff upper lip fair play. One would have hoped that times would have moved on, but having seen a bit of Citizen Khan recently, sadly not.
still trying to get through Teh Hobbit - A Unexpected Journey, it's a Spamsung Blu-ray thing

I only use my TV for DVD's and games (it's analogue and I can't be arsed sorting a freeview thingy out) so on the subject of this, can anyone recommend any good box sets?

If you can suspend the concept that Reacher, first name Jack, is a 6' 4" bricksh#thouse of a man with a body weight and frame similar to a wrestler from the WWF (back in the day)...then yeah...Not Bad
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.
Today World Premiere of ' The Day of The Doctor'!!! (Only for today I seem to understand..?)
Obviously it was going to be Matt Smith starring, but I was kinda hopping for the Eccleston's Doctor to come back....Anyway, the trailer and the list of the BBC' blessed ones. ( Spain didn't join, but that's never surprising..)
