Currently Listening To: Experimental Noises

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

DURAN DURAN - BIG THING

Not what one would describe as "experimental noises" and hardly a high bench mark to start the year but quite jolly.

I hadn't played it for a very long time, but back in those days I really liked it too. A while ago I suddenly felt an urge to play it again... and it still works for me. Horror soundtrack electro 8)
There some more stuff from that time I still like, but other stuff doesn't work anymore for me. Das Ich's Die Propheten for instance, a big 'hit' at the time.

Just dropped the needle on this one:

Caught in that post-2am contemplation of the internal dichotomy of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir again: such great music, such utterly, utterly, appalling lyrics.
