And from nowhere ...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Don't do twitter.
Is it like scouring the Sounds back pages for tour info?
Or waiting for the Reptile House newsletter to arrive?

...aaaaaaaand also following Tony James.

If this is a hoax it's at least an informed one.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

https://twitter.com/tsomofficial - I notice the word "Beach".

http://www.thesistersofmercy.com/ - The "BEACH" link takes you to Live News.

Let's assume that means Tony James has rejoined and they are about to announce a 20+ date European tour.

Maybe.

s**t. I call utter s**t, and I'll happily eat my hat if I'm wrong, but this is wishful thinking. Twitter, honestly - anyone who works in media knows it lacks all the safeguards of verified communications.

DO NOT TRUST.

Well, it seems like a kosher twitter account - reading between the lines I think Chris runs it. Certainly, he retweeted the original tweet.

I doubt it's anything to get excited about - it's almost certainly just some live date announcements. I'd expect something in the next couple of days. If anything, it's nice that there seems to be a bit more fan-centric communication going on at all.

Yeah I'd guess it's Chris running it too.

Well, anyone in media apart from all the journalists who merrily copy stuff from Twitter and call it a "news item" (Obviously not you, Tim).

Anniversary? It's five years since I joined on Friday! First gig announced for my house then?

I don't do/understand Twitter. Is it the capitalised "Incoming" bit that they have twittered then? :?

As there's not a lot of activity on the Twitter site it and that Chris has retweeted 'Incoming' lends credence to the fact that a gig or two may be in the offing...As has said before play Dublin, play Dublin....
