Ooh, little bit controversial

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

That's true czuczu , especially when they did a full set of Joy Division tunes , like they did in Blackpool last August.

I never liked original version of temple of love, guitar sounds like a theme for Atari game. not that bombastic TOL '92 version is better, but at least guitar sounds proper.

But the natural follow-up to/musical-inheritor of Closer isn't Movement, it's Power, Corruption & Lies.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I am a RANGERS fan and think the whole notion of them being a new team while keeping the old records is a farce

PC&L is certainly my favorite NO album.

Very true. I have been a huge Metallica fan but this just sounded so self indulgent. Plus I hated the vocals. Horses for courses, as they say

I'm not that keen on Lulu apart from when she covered those Bowie songs - I guess that would be her top half.

But to be controversial...

Repatriate all the fuckin' Normans
They've been here nearly a 1000 years, they still own most of the land and the wealth
They have their own church and their own schools and speak their own language
They haven't really taken much effort to get themselves integrated
When they came over they didn't even have fuckin' passports and they certainly weren't invited
Deport them
Well you must know something

In response to the original post (f**k knows where this thread has meandered since and I have no intention of finding out) the Simpsons and South Park are the reason why no-one under thirty bothers to vote and the Waltons should be a compulsory subject of the GCSE curriculum.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

Brighter than a Thousand Suns is still the best Killing Joke LP. There, I said it.

I'm a little conflicted about that to be honest. I agree that it's horrible that Brendan Eich gave money to the anti-marriage-equality movement; I can understand why some folk want to boycott, but as far as I can tell, Mozilla's revenue stream would not be at all affected by me refusing to use their products. Also Mozilla have, in response to the negative publicity, reaffirmed their commitment to anti-discrimination and LGBT issues.
