Said it once, and I'll say it again: Paddy is my rawk god hero.

Highlights definitely include the 5 or so of 8 Heartland t-shirt overthrow on stage during '1969', and Quiffy reprising the whole of Eldritch's video posing during 'This Corrosion'! Ha! A goth-dancing boy with rhythm? How is it possible??? :notworthy:

And it was great to meet you all: reverberater and the missus, Ed, snowey, Scardwel, Paddy, etc...

Yes, a great night out...sorry I didn't chat to more people, Ed Jnr took exception to my inflicting 2 halves of lager on him/her & made me spend half the night on the big white telephone. That's no bloody child of mine...I'm demanding a maternity test the MINUTE it's born! :lol:


Lots of fun in between the gipping tho' & the 8 strong '1969' was bloody HILARIOUS. Nice to see everyone again & once again apologies for my lack of sociability!

Hi peeps, I'm new on here. Registered myself tonight :D . I'm a big fan of The Sisters, so I always get down to The Limelight (my fantastic local music venue) every time the Sisters of Murphy comes to town. I dragged my husband and a friend along on Sunday, although couldn't persuade them to join me on the dancerfloor :( Really good night out and very happy that they played Heartland and Floorshow and First and Last and Always... could go on 8) Great forum by the way, don't know why I didn't discover it earlier.

Don't worry about it - I reckon every guitarist has played a lead part in the wrong key at some point in their life. I guess the trick is to do it without the audience noticing... :wink: :innocent:

Worry? Me? Never! Though I still maintain that seeing as I start the song, it stands to reason that everyone else got it wrong by not following the key I layed down - what's wrong with C# eh? - bunch of bleeding amatures - you see what I have to deal with?

Still I made it easy for them in Crewe by being boring and playing it 'correctly' in the 'approved' key.

... a rather belated 'top night' comment from myself.

Big thanks go out to the Smurphs for their invitation - twas much fun - and to play on a stage that had enough room for the 1969 ensemble made a very pleasant change!!

And Ed... how dare you suggest that a played in the wrong key in Manchester - that was 'experimental' music, or just a f*ck-up - one of the two!!
