"Valentine" sounds fabulous, even if he bungles the lyrics; I'd like to take back the sideline commentary.

I very very much doubt it..I have stupidly bought a ticket ,because for some strange reason I thought they might have something new to showcase....every one seems to be getting a rock-on because there is new old songs in the set..oh well, they can't be bothered, neither can IJames Blast wrote:You're comin' up for teh Glasgow gig, ain't ya?sam1 wrote:Wow! A 30 year old song....imagine the hysteria if they could manage a new song .....
One can only imagine the state of the die hards if they play Far Parade..
Anyway James..see you Tuesday,I'm sure I owe you a beer

Thanks for confirmation. I tried to find out, but my eyes have become so bad that I just couldn't see him clear enough to be sure ... ...euphoria wrote:Ravey Davey.robertzombie wrote:Who's nursing?
Oh yes, and here is Crash And Burn, not yet mentioned, if I should not have overlooked it - and just wonderful ... ...

This was a good one, not as good as Vienna or Linz as it seems when watching YT but anyway. Andrew in very good mood and I liked the surprises in the setlist. It almost felt like ten years ago.. just missing a new song or two.. A decent gig with the second half of it the most memorable.
What bothers me though, and what was really the low point, was that the sound engineer didn't seem to care much for the sound (oh really!), like when Ben's guitar was inaudible for like four-five songs and nothing was done about it (it didn't get better until he changed guitar, Dominion or such I think). I mean come on, when like 55% of all music suddenly disappears someone has to act, no?
Otherwise I wish I had done more gigs than just this one this tour, but here's hoping for autumn..

Chris played "Marian" with an e-bow.

Shame about Ben's guitar being so buried; I hope they give it another go like this.

I can detect nothing of this in the video and I didn't notice anything the like, centurionofprix wrote:Chris played "Marian" with an e-bow.

but, IMHO, this was all over the most impressing version of "Marian" heard in a long time ... ...
Much better than that video can convey ...
Anyway, support act Losers did play their guitars with an e-bow in parts ... great sound! ... ...

You can't hear it? Maybe I'm going crazy, but it sounds like an e-bow to me for sure. It's particularly noticeable around 1:25 and 1:40, then there's even a bit of fret buzz from it towards 2:00 and 2:20.

I've listened to it again, and yes, true. It almost sounds like an ebow ... more yipping than usual and not bad ... ...centurionofprix wrote:You can't hear it? Btw, I've also noticed now that in the first lines of Still the lyrics seem to have been You didn't say it on the telephones ... ... oh hell.
And then follows the usual You didn't say you want me to .... Oh hell.
