I don't think it's a question of getting the money back T-H (that's a given) but more about getting the item back.
From memory, you have a legitimate copy of the "Paris Riots" promo.
Imagine if that had got lost in the post and someone said "Sorry!" and gave you your money back?
A request for you evilbay dwellers

Aye, i've also come home from work and found Recorded Delivery Mail that has been posted through my letter box (that wasn't always addressed to me either ) and worst of all parcels left on my doorstep in full view of passers by in the street because the postie couldn't be arsed to take it back to the local depot and leave me a collection card (they've also not bothered to leave a card so after 14 days sat in the depot it's been posted back to the original addressee - i've then had to pay for it to be posted to me for a 2nd time)Memnarch wrote:Royal Mail wont do s**t because they are the laziest, most unreliable bunch of f**king asshats ever. I refuse to post valuable stuff with them. Case in point when I got my first Body Electric single (which i payed a decent amount for), requested it be sent special delivery, seller did so, Royal Mail fired it through the letter box without even knocking and postie signed it for me. How very f**king kind of him Luckily I was watching as he did it and challenged him on it, that I paid for postage where I had to receive AND sign for MY item IN PERSON. Que a whole load of excuses blah blah blah for your convenience. f**k off, if it had of been delivered to the wrong address I'd never have seen it again, something which happens the odd time to me, and also something which I payed the best postage option to avoid. Wrote a complaint to the RM, reply back offering free stamps, told them to shove them up their f**king hole.
I hope that Tambourine turns up!
Well so far the TCT have been in contact with the royal snail who think they've delivered it to the wrong address (duh).Johnny Rev 7.0 wrote:But back on topic...
Any updates Steve?
They are saying that they will physically try to find it.
In the meantime, the TCT have stumbled upon a t shirt signed by the whole band & say that they'll be sending that,, but will continue to try to find the tambourine.
Ultimately the responsibility iies with the seller, as they choose the mode of delivery & they do seem to be trying their best & the offer of the t shirt was a nice gesture at least.
Chances are that whoever received it prolly doesn't even know what they have but given it was packed in TCT branded packaging, it's a bit cold not to even get in touch with them & ask.
The search continues though

Agreed but as a buyer and seller these things sometime sadly happen. I wan't saying "get over" it but trying to offer a means of ensuring the seller had another option should the only resort they have be to claim the money back and ebay / paypal are master at avoiding that. I agree 100% that if I bought a unique item I would prefer that to a refund.Johnny Rev 7.0 wrote:I don't think it's a question of getting the money back T-H (that's a given) but more about getting the item back.

"i'm talking about god, devil, hell, do you understand, finally?"
Thanks for the offer. If she doesn't get anywhere with the other channels, I'll prolly take you up on that.the-happening wrote:Did they pay via Paypal as I know them very well (long story) and can provide UK Managing Directors email and phone number if this helps (only if paypal was used though)Pista wrote:Thanks for the tip.
I think I'll do that.
Of course, tweeting & farcebooking it would help too.
