Get Down, Get Undressed

Got any interesting thoughts on a set of lyrics? Any that don't involve the word "indeed"? Find yourself struggling to decipher all those obtuse references Von makes? Read "1959 And All That" and still no clearer? Nope, us neither. Postcards found lying in a skip around the back of the Chemists can be found here... Don't say you weren't warned.

One of my favourite Eldritch one-liners, was thinking if it's a reference to Queen's "Get down, make love" from News of the world.

Surely a reference to Status Quo's "Down down, deeper and down"

It could, of course, be a reference to the prison rape scene in the Shawshank Redemption. :innocent:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Shouldn't this thread be in the lyrics section? :innocent:

It's an obvious juxtaposition with Get Up, Stand Up from that other rasta Bob Marley.

If only Floodland was released few years later, i'd it's reference to House of Pain's "Jump Around".
