We are going to the netherlands next week, down from the islands to zeeland. Does anyone have any special tips suitable for little kids? We are well prepared, so the question is really for things you recommended which we might not choose from descriptions in guides.
I was not surprised when My darling refused me going to zottegem for the evening
Thanks!

Am not Dutch but having taken my kids there frequently I would say that their highlights would be :
Duinrell theme/ water park at Wassenaar near Den Haag.
When they were little, Madurodam miniature village in Den Haag
The vast sandy beaches (or a hot chocolate in a beach cafe during those wet, blustery days) at Katwijk and Noordwijk
Amsterdam Arena tour if they are interested in football
They also enjoyed the traditional guide book stuff (Amsterdam canal tour, Anne Frank's House, eating deep fried kibbleling from a Volendam street vendor etc) too. All depends on your kids' ages/interests really.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

My 7 year old keeps asking if we can go to Hamsterdam, he thinks it must be good as Daddy has been so many times.
I imagine it's actually a pretty child friendly city. I guess there is plenty to do.
Anyway, sorry I'll stop hijacking your thread now.
