Playing Flac on Android phones?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Would like to be able to play the Glasgow 2014 gig on my Sony Xperia and it's currently only available in flac. Does anyone know of an app/program that will play it?

Does the Walkman player not do it?
TBH, I would Convert to MP3 if I was going to listen to it on a phone.
Would save space that way too.

PowerAmp....very good but not free. 2 euros i think but with a very good equalizer.

I've read and reread the thread on how to convert flac to mp3 and somewhere along the line something just doesn't register!

Or (my weapon of choice for Mac) Xact
