Scorsese to direct Ramones film

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I know this is true of any dead band and also most live ones...

But the article did seem to read more like how much can we squeeze out of the still loyal fans - rather than what can we do to reward that loyalty
Well you must know something

well put. :notworthy:
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

We'll see, Scorsese it's Scorsese, some of his finest movie was made or about stories from '70 s., so carrying to details of that times should be good.

Indeed. He has a history with NY and came from the same neighbourhood as them... If anyone should do it, he's the one to try first. Or Vincent Gallo. But he'd probably make a film about himself... which I would go see for sure too ;D
