Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

has it been pie-jacked yet?
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

wildcard whizzkid week continues a-pace and i have attempted to use my cash-juggling skills in association with unlimited free transfers to plump up the weaker parts of my squad. i now have 7 of last GW's dream team in my team and apart from Ivanowic, Konchesky and Larsson everyone else is new. tactically this could be as tasteful as Chelsea and Man City's recent years tactics when bought by oligarch's but i don't give a s**t.

Konchesky ???? One of the worst players I ever saw in a red shirt. Typified the Hodgson era.

Might go wild cardy after the champions league games.

Don't want to be lumbered with someone who'll be in plaster for 3 months

but doing alright with leicester. and the saviour of my GW last week so worth keeping for this one...certainly not my worst defender before this re-shuffle.

and tonight's game saw no major injuries for liverpool -as well as being a lucky victory. 8)

what site does anyone recommend for lists of (probable) starting line-ups in advance of the games?

There's the scout within the FF site itself: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/the-scout/ but that's more of a general overview.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Ooh... the FPL GW thread appears to have been closed in We-Make-Albums-land. Which is understandable, after their harrowing 154pts defeat this GW.

But, if the thread was still open, I'd also be giving a Big Shout Out (and I do now feel qualified to do that) to:

87 - Kirkstall Wanderers (markfiend)
86 - Spiritwalkers (Mav787)
84 - Charlotte's Carnage (GOD)

Stunning scores :notworthy: , and on any other GW they would have taken the weekly prize.

I just got lucky. :)

As Unstuck Forest, that epitaph will probably be on your gravestone. :innocent:

Woohoo! And that's with a mighty 1 point from my captain... if only I'd had the foresight to pick a different captain. Hey ho.

My season continues to deteriorate, sliding from top 3 to just above the relegation zone. Time to wield the axe (ie use the wildcard) before I let HL down even more.

Just 84 points for me again this week, wouldn't be too unhappy if that happened every week ... .. .
