Dear Father Christmas

I am torn between the "Girls on..." t-shirt (earnestly desired by my 19-year old self) and the "Slight Case of Overbrewing" tea-towel (which would probably be more useful but would force me to admit that I am no longer 19). Which one should I buy?

Yours sincerely

I have both. Buy both. :D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Bought a "Jesus Loves The Sisters" T-shirt and...

...A Sisters mug. It somehow seemed fitting.

FFS mfl stores just emailed me back with the password I supplied unencrypted in the email body. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence...

@Mark: I mentioned it to That Nice Mr Catalyst who chased them up... he's passed on this response from them:
I would imagine the customer was creating a new account on the store. These (new account) emails have been encrypted in the past but we would get a huge amount of customers asking what their password is, so have changed it back to sending it over to them via email. We have very, very few complaints on this and we get 1,000’s of orders per week. We do hope this helps, but if you have any issues please email/contact the store directly and they will be able to help (http://www.mflstores.com/help).

OK, but it's not exactly best practice. You know that as well as I do. Good job I always use site-specific passwords

I went in straight after and changed the password, for what it's worth.

 I'm sure that the link between the object and his fans was not lost on :von: when the new range was created. I should buy a full set.

Agreed, not the slickest site I've ever used.

My wife asked me what I'd ordered -"mug and a tea towel" I replied.

"You've changed."

On a related note could any kind soul who has purchased an XL hoodie advise the measurements? You could have housed a family in the 2XL one I had.

I'm wondering if I ought to have ordered my T-shirt smaller than XL then. Oh well, I like my T-shirts baggy ;D

Any chance of posting the exact chest measurement on here when it arrives please Mark? I was just about to order my usual XL in the 1985 shirt but can maybe get away with L, if they are generously sized

Just treated myself to one of these tshirts from the new store.

Size is Medium, and laid down flat it measures 22" (56cm) from side to side, measuring from immediately underneath the arm on either side, so double that to 44" for the actual circumference.

(I know you were after the measurements for the L/XL sizes, but thought this might be useful for someone).

On a bright note, it fits me fine, so I've decided that I am a medium and it's all the other clothes manufacturers who think I'm bigger than I am ;)
