FPL GW5: Preview, update and review (Deadline 20 Sep 11:30)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

21 pts all in- the (joint) 2nd lowest score out of all of us. not chuffed.
of course i could bemoan the fact that Naismith wasn't a starter even though there was no mention of any injury right up to kick-off; or complain about the amount of yellow cards my players picked-up; or blame sterling for having a better game than cautious injury-management should have allowed..... but i won't . i won't even blame the Wildcard. i have got rid of naismith though. and bought Ulloa. so it can only get better.

A really unpredictable week with surprise defeats for Man U, Liverpool, Everton and Spurs. The only predictable element was another low-scoring Touré week so I have finally got my YaYa out. Roll on week 6.

i have to say at this point that Leicester's victory over man utd was fabulous. i may be a liverpool fan but i am from leicester and live there and am very pleassed on behalf of all my friends who are city fans that they kept on coming back at the considerabley more expensive team and ultimately destroyed them. there is a lot of beer being consumed here tonight. :notworthy: :notworthy:

I'm tempted to flog Naismith too. A glorious zero points this week FFS.

Some real world stuff has intervened.

I think I'll lock this one, we can go back to the main thread.
