Uwe Bastiansen

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Does anyone know if or when Uwe Bastiansen played with TSOM ? On the website for his current, erm, project, Stadtfisch http://www.stadtfischfilm.com/english/s ... ch_en.html it claims that he played with the band, but the only link I can find is that he did some engineering on the latest Merciful Release, the Scoda Blush single in 1998.

Astonishing! This time the Great find! goes to you, Nikolas Vitus Lagartija ... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: ..
.
Maybe Uwe Bastiansen did play some sessions with The Sisters in 1994-1996, when they were re-forming the band
as Bruhn had left, Josefowicz was off as well and Terri Nunn was not willing to join them and leave Berlin behind or
Bastiansen was involved in the SSV project ... ... mere speculation all that ... ...

Your speculation seems entirely reasonable, and as UB was a well-known face on the Hamburg scene, there would seem to be several possibilities times-wise.
I was already impressed that UB had worked with Nils Wohlrabe (Leather Nun), but would love to know more about his collaboration with :von: .
