Game Week 9 - fantasy footie

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I worry that if I flog him now, I won't be able to afford to buy him back. OTOH nearly 11M sitting on the bench is a bit of a pain.

Why not avoid this kind of dilemma by buying (and then transferring) a random selection of allegedly brilliant but non-scoring Prem strikers like I do.

The main thing seems to be to have at least eleven players who play at least an hour each week, which has proved to be harder than I imagined with a squad of only fourteen to tinker with.

Costa's a season keeper for me, barring long term injury. And yes Mav787, financials do come into play, particularly as I've had him since GW1. Sometimes you just have to ride out the storm.

He's the original bull in a china shop. I don't care about skills, I just wanna see him stick it in the back of the onion bag. (Nipper Lawrenceâ„¢)

I still, even now, grieve for those poor souls who sold him prior to GW4... and he bagged a hattrick. :innocent:

Costa allegedly came out of hospital yesterday, I reckon a Balotelli shot from Wednesday landed in Kensington sometime Thursday morning and crippled Costa.

I do apologise to our friendly neighbourhood deity, but I've removed the image from your sig. Not allowed round these parts I'm afraid.

I think I was a Tiger, Scorcher, Lion fan. Maybe I'm misremembering?

Any chance you could help the collective Team Sisters this GW?

Just asking. :x

Would that be my front three of Welbeck, Dzecko and Lukaku you're referring to ? Optimism various Prem managers have invested about £60 million in. Their time will come ?

di maria is fit again thank fuck, so it's experimental 3-4-3 week for me. i sold costa and bought pelie which gives me some in the bank (if theres no serious injuryi have my eye on strengthening my defense) and one dream-teamer in my front 3. swapping speroni for heaton.

If you've put Lukaku in for Adebayor then thats a good move.

I was more thinking of your long term injured players (Debuchy, Koscielny, and McGregor) climbing off the treatment table anytime soon.

I nearly went for Lukaku, but opted out at the last minute.
Glad I didn't take a punt on Mad Mario too.
His inability to hit a cow's erse with a banjo has confirmed my decision I think.

& Milner's on the bench. Terrific!
Cheers.

Whenever I sign a new striker he stops scoring goals :|

Well, Man Ure's man of the match, Phil Dowd, ruined my evening by sending off my vice captain.
I can only assume he thought Ivanovich used the force to bring down Di Maria.

Cheers.
