i try to have a life outside of cyber-space but it can be hard, especially when its sitting there all lit-up, LEDs winking, like a flirtacious Cenobite offering "such pleasures..." and i'm sure i'm not alone.
so, apart from anything to do with the sisters or coming here and moaning about them, what DO you spend all your time doing on the internet? (we'll take pornography as a given shall we, before anyone starts.)

for me it's:
gaming: virtual pool 4 must account for at least 50% of my time. more like going down the pub and playing pool than going down the pub and playing pool. international community-mostly USA- where there's always a table free and the cues aren't bent. free account will get you a basic game but a £6 (ish) yearly sub is well worth it.

non-gaming: i don't do twitter, i don't do facebook, i do do instagram (but only to d/ll lady Gaga's pictures and tell her how much i love her) and i don't do other fora except our brothers and sisters at the cure community for Fantasy Premier League and occasional pie-related conversations. as a music resource i find pirate bay and kickass torrents have the biggest range of illegal downloadable content and of course wikipedia is a great non-specific starting point for most subjects.looking at my bookmarks it seems music and pictures of gaga win overall tho.

I do have accounts on all the usual social media suspects, although my involvement with them all is sporadic, as and when I can be arsed.

Other than that, I like projecteuler.net to keep my eye in on computer-based problem-solving.

I think my first click of the day will always be the BBC news page & I do drill into it region by region & country by country.
Also I plunder other random news sites to try to get a balanced view of the same stories from around the planet.

But I am very partial to news. Or more specifically mocking it. So I do like to spend a lot of time at Fark.com where there's something for everyone (although the people in the politics tab can be a bit batshiat crazy)

Other: Flickr, the GiMP help pages (so much more fun to use than PhotoChop), BaseCamp (to see how many ways designers can rewrite my requirements and deliver something that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike what (a) I asked for, and (b) what the client expects.

I usually try to find old movies, documentaries, old animations, books, food recipes, subtitles if available for some of those i download and want to share with non fluent english speakers. Read some conspiracy theories sites for news
Checking news about sciences, physic, chemistry, maths, engineering.
Checking things to do and hotels for travels.
Checking things to see and travels to make before i expire in this dimension
And ofc many many things about my work. I am thinking that i do today more things for work by using browsers than 12-14 years ago

Well, I maintain my own art website selling my artwork, as you all know because I slip it into online conversation often enough.

And then there's social media, and keeping up to date with the latest art, culture, & web development news via RSS feeds (I have about 300 feeds on my RSS reader of choice).

100% of my time on the internet I collect pictures. Eldritch, Warhol, Vai, and some other people. Also watch movies, listen to music, read the wiki [s](but not only)[/s], and.. and.. something else. Lalala

I mainly collect music and videos and radio programmes.
A lot of Japanese music, some Jpop (being able to download concerts within a few hours of them ending is kindof cool) and some older stuff too, and lately I've been listening to some Russian music. AlixJH it says your location is Moscow so you'll presumably have heard of them... Natalya Mogilevskaya, Tatiana Bulanova (I think she's married to a footballer) and Janna Aguzarova (I've been a fan of her for years, she's totally nuts but I think she's great!) and for older stuff, Lidia Ruslanova who seems to have an interesting life story.

Beyond Sisters stuff (and the SistersWiki) and other music stuff, I'm always busy with plenty human rights affairs and checking loads of such websites regularly, including the official ones from the UN, EU and so on. In addition all the online petitions I receive from NGOs of various scope like human rights, environmental concerns, free internet, free press and so on ...
