I saw that and then Control not too long after, and I was confused when Control differed from 24hr Party People, because it features a lot of the same people.

(I mainly watched it because I'd watched Rush recently, and just like after Inglourious Basterds I decided that I need to see more bi/multilingual films. Well, at least films featuring languages I understand... I guess the joke would be lost on me in a Korean/Chinese/Japanese co-production.)

Watched this last night. He's a pretty impressive character. His use of prose is so beautifully poetic you fail to be moved.
It shows a nice yet brief insight into his relationship with Warren Ellis too.

Strange, the only bit in the film that did n't do it for me was the part with Warren. It seemed too contrived and forced....which the rest of the film defineltely was n't.

Just watched and cried my eyes out at the Legend Of Korra finale.
I think I might still be on the verge of tears. It was fantastic. And they got as close to showing a lesbian relationship on US children's television as they could (probably one reason for my tears that they're not allowed to which is utterly ridiculous and backwards).

Fantastic. Loved every second except for the Damsel In Distress trope and the omission of some cool character interaction from the manga. Otherwise A+. So beautiful. So cool.

Too soppy and feel-good for many I suspect (and it does also feature James Corden and is about BGT opera star Paul Potts which nearly put me off watching it) but Mrs L and I enjoyed watching this last night :

I saw Winter's Bone last night. Definitely not a feel good movie, but really great :notworthy:
