Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
Thinking of the worst band I've ever seen, I remember a performance of KMFDM at the Lorely festival in the early nineties (1992 or 1993, Sisters were headliner). They came out wearing angel's wings, the weather was really bad (pouring down as hell), the sound wasn't really great either (I could barely hear the vocals of the first songs which, however, may have been one of the better aspects of the gig) and the performance was completely awful ...
sheep on drugs -worst band i 've ever supported for sure. they spent all day sound checking their backing tape and when they had sussed that they sound-checked themselves through our alloted time, leaving us with 5 mins before the gig to sound-check in. so basically our first song was the first time we had played a note. the sound was awful and their fans -about 500 people- hated us which was the only up-side. a more arrogant pair of pretentious twats in cowboy hats and tights i have never met. and they still sounded s**t.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
