Official March Violets merch

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I love the design of this one: http://www.bilgerat.co.uk/collections/f ... le-t-shirt

But I would have to listen to them first ;)

By the way, I've now seen this five-point star as the base of design in Sisters and MV logos, and they're on the same label, so that kinda makes sense, but The Jesus & Mary Chain also frequently use that star. Is this a "(left-leaning) bands originating in the 80s in the North of the UK" thing or just coincidence (stars are a nice design element, after all)?

I'd always assumed it was because Suicide used a red star, and everyone likes Suicide.

That's certainly the rationale James & Degville gave for Sigue Sigue Sputnik using it

They're fantastic, but don't take my word for it. Make sure you listen to some of their Made Glorious album which came out a couple of years ago.

This is a playlist of 32 videos I've recorded of them playing live since they reformed in 2007.

Cheers QB and Mav! I've decided I like them (more enthusiasm is possible once I've purchased their album and put it on my iPod).
