Speed corrected Floodland demos.

And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. Have just finished speed correcting the Floodland demos. It started with me editing the album version of Dominion/Mother Russia to the same arrangement as the demo, at which time I noticed that their playback speeds were not the same.

I checked the rest individually and they were all off, one way or another, so I messed with them in Audacity. I matched them to their album versions. (Untitled was a thumbsuck, but does sound nice with a bit more pace.)

All tracks sourced from the 'Demos & Outtakes 1981-1986' torrent, except Snow & Never Land which came from CD.

Here are some notes:

Dominion 3.5
Flood II 3.5
Lucretia -1
Untitled 3.5
Flood I -4.3
Driven like the Snow 1.5
Never Land -4.5

Additional use of the envelope tool allowed Lucretia's vocal to finish before the song fades, and fixed the drop-outs in volume elsewhere in other songs.

The differences may not be profound to some, but those tracks with the biggest values sound much better.
