The Neon Judgement retire after 35 years

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Very influential band here in Belgium, bit like Front 242.

Thanks Dirk Da Davo and TB Frank for all the nice electronic dance music! :)
And a well-deserved retirement, although knowing the guys, they will certainly not quit the music scene, they simply can't put that down. ;D

Bad news for followers, but on the other had: some people know when to say goodbye.

Thanks for sharing this news, @Izzy. As you say, a well-deserved retirement.

Certainly a massive influence in the 80s from the early days of The Factory Walk to the later more TSOM sound of Chinese Black and Awful Day.

Part of that golden generation of Belgian bands (Front 242, Aroma di Amore, Flesh and Fell etc) sadly largely overlooked in the UK.
